Let me admit right off the bat that for Reasons (life, fitness, not having a time machine) I haven’t read all the World of Warcraft expansion annoucement thingies yet, neither announcement nor comments. I did check out the new site — as in, I clicked the link kindly provided on Twitter — and my immediate reaction was:

Blizzard: You know, we’ve already done 5 expansions. How about we just go back to the first one and do it from another perspective?

Where I come from, that’s called Same Shit, Different Day.

And I find it hard to get all excited about demons — not the way WoW does them. They’re almost cuddly FFS, and we all know all the guys want a tame Succubus. Or better yet a gamer chick dressed as a tame succubus.

YAWN

On the bright side, WoW often makes me eat my words, so this might be the bestest, funnest, most superest expansion ever. I guess we’ll see.
